Ministries
Family Integrated Ministries
The ministries of Valley Chapel are in
transition since God is growing our understanding of local church
ministry. We are beginning to see afresh that we are indeed a
church FAMILY; and
 we should minister as such. Therefore, we are
moving toward a family integrated model of church family life. It
is our desire to strengthen family togetherness rather than
program against it. We don’t want a steady diet of each family
member programmed into their own separate, and often age
segregated, classes and activities. We want family worship, family
learning, and family fellowship that doesn’t sacrifice individual
relationships or family togetherness. We are trying to guard
against fragmenting our families in church services since parents,
especially fathers and husbands, are to be a significant part of
their family’s spiritual growth and training. We want to help
family members fulfill their own biblical responsibility within
the family order. It is our desire to help and equip families to
fulfill their responsibilities to God and each other but not take
over their responsibilities for them. We also desire for each
ministry to really minister; and so we are striving to evaluate
and then reform as merited or mandated by the Scriptures.
It is our chief desire to be God centered, to
please and glorify Him in each ministry.
