At Valley Chapel, we seek to forge men of character who live as servant-leaders in the home, church, and world that God has called them to. (Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Peter 2:11-12). We seek to do this through several avenues of discipleship:
- Teaching. In our Wednesday evening service we are teaching through biblical doctrine in a series entitled, "Theology for Life". We are studying doctrine and how it shapes our lives as Christians. This is a rich opportunity for men to learn about how God's word applies to living as a godly man in today's world.
- Discipleship. During the week, Pastor Michael and the other leaders at Valley Chapel meet with men for informal discipleship helping every man become complete in Christ.
- Ministry events. During the year, the men at Valley Chapel meet periodically for intensive discipleship seminars under the teaching of God's word. We learn how God's word speaks to topics men face today such as leadership, sexual purity, life at work, etc.
